Age’ University
‘Golden
Age’
University, former University of the Third Century, was founded in
the Academy of Agrobusiness in Lomza in 2000. The initiators of the
establishment were Rector of the Academy of Agrobusiness Professor
Roman Engler. The main topics of classes oscillated around medical
issues and those connected with elderly people’s health.
There was
a group of 100 students then. In 2002, at the students’
request,
the fomula of the University was changed. The name of the University
was changed, too. Now it was called ‘Golden Age’
University. The
topics connected with the town Lomza, culture, arts and
students’
interests were added to the syllabus. Plenipotentiory of Rector
Bozena Swieszkowska, MA became responsible for organizational
matters. Classes of ‘Golden Age’ University take
place once a
week in the Academy of Agrobusiness. They sometimes take place in
other places connected with the topic of a specific meeting
‘Golden Age’
University is for everyone.
