wsa_18m.jpgInternational Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża is a non-state higher education institution operating based on the Act of 12.09.1990 on Higher Education. It was established on July 5, 1996, and is supervised by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Accreditation

The School has a positive assessment of the State Accreditation Committee in all fields of study and is accredited by the State Accreditation Committee for Medical Education in the field of Nursing. This means that the University meets the requirements in terms of personnel, curriculum, and organization, as well as having a suitable material base.

Leading positions in national rankings of higher education institutions

International Academy of Applied Sciences Łomża obtains leading positions in national rankings of higher education institutions: 3rd place in Poland - Rzeczpospolita and Perspektywy (2004 and 2005) and 39th place in Poland (among state and non-state universities) - Newsweek 2004 In the rankings conducted, the following are assessed: the level of teaching, the premises, the teaching staff, the organization of the course of studies, publishing and research activities, student activities and international and interuniversity exchange.

Teaching facilities

The didactic base of the MANS in Łomża is 9300m2 of usable area. It includes two modern auditoriums for 250 people each, 6 auditoriums for 100 people, 7 auditoriums for 40 people and 12 seminar rooms for small groups of students, 6 computer laboratories, computer terminals in the halls of the building as well as laboratories and specialist subject laboratories.

Our school is a member of the organizations:

National Council of Non-State Higher Education Institutions, Federation of Chambers of Agriculture, Biomass Association, Łomża Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Regional Development Agency, and Baptai International Organisation for Regional Development. It has accreditations: recognition of international education Cisco certificate.

In November 2016, the Academy was decorated with the "Badge of Honour of the Podlaskie Voivodeship," awarded by the Voivodeship Board chaired by Jerzy Leszczyński. The academy was recognized for promoting and developing agricultural education in our region.
